Lamborghini Poem

People walk by me

and gasp and gape

They are in AWE

with my beauty,

my vivacious curves.

They think I am so nice

and spoiled.

They love to test my interior;

Caress my dash

And steer my wheel.

I am only but a motorcar

With a waxed body.

People only judge me

By my looks.

They never take time

To hear my engine purr,

Or know my true thoughts.

I am the Lamborghini

Destined to eternal solitude

If only the people could look

Beyond their shallow desires

And see my true mileage .

Sam -

Just read your poem - thought it was great - very little air words, nicely polished, and I really like a few of the words you used: "see my true mileage", "destined to eternal solitude"...

Is there space between the "shallow desires" line and the final line for a bit of explanation?

For example:
Beyond their shallow desires
-belongings, image, envy -

See my true mileage.

mipster. when you say they think i am so nice and spoiled you should say they think i am a sexy beast or beautiful and spoiled. the next sentece you can say i love to show off and test my interior. when you say i am only a motor car you should say like i am only a fast race car that is nice and shinny. you could say to hear my load purring engine can atract attention. so you mite want to go and look into this poem and look for other stuff because this topic is good because there can be a lot to write about it because you can put some detail into it because a lamborghini has a lot of things to write about. even if you are jusy talking abiut the rims you can say what you see behand those rims. a nice shiny break pad awaits to be used. great poem and just look for some changes.
