Object In House Poem
My house is like a Gallery
Each Painting Speaks to Me, Talks to me
Tells me secrets from the past
A past so full of history
Sculptures dance and whisper as if they were alive
Every corner has a mystery
Every thought has a process
Every colour has a purpose
Every painting that is featured
has a connection with me in many ways
When its light and when its dark
I see the art
Calming me, comforting me
Each Painting Speaks to Me, Talks to me
Tells me secrets from the past
A past so full of history
Sculptures dance and whisper as if they were alive
Every corner has a mystery
Every thought has a process
Every colour has a purpose
Every painting that is featured
has a connection with me in many ways
When its light and when its dark
I see the art
Calming me, comforting me
Lamborghini Poem
People walk by me
and gasp and gape
They are in AWE
with my beauty,
my vivacious curves.
They think I am so nice
and spoiled.
They love to test my interior;
Caress my dash
And steer my wheel.
I am only but a motorcar
With a waxed body.
People only judge me
By my looks.
They never take time
To hear my engine purr,
Or know my true thoughts.
I am the Lamborghini
Destined to eternal solitude
If only the people could look
Beyond their shallow desires
And see my true mileage .
